Sony announced (via PlayStation.Blog) that God of War III will launch domestically on March 16. That’s just 5 days away. In addition to confirming the date, SCEA also released the final box art. You can see a new trailer showcasing the considerable upgrades it has received since the playable demo hit on the PlayStation Store.

A box shot of the Ultimate Edition has also been released — a package within which ultimate collectors will find a replica Pandora’s Box containing the game along with collectibles and DLC. Personally, we find a paltry cardboard box rather unbefitting of such a powerful artifact.

BioShock 2 will have DLC — A 2K Marin representative has confirmed. Speaking to AustralianGamer, Senior Systems Designer Kent Hudson revealed that the studio has “pretty aggressive plans for DLC” and that it’s “something that is already under-way.” No further details were provided.

The original BioShock was lacking in the DLC department with only one DLC pack available for $10.00 which provided some extra plasmids and added challenge rooms. We’re hoping to see much more DLC for Bioshock 2 after the game’s Febuary 9 release date from the numerous studios working on the sequel.
